Many property owners who have had mold remediation know how expensive mold removal can be. So can mold come back after the remediation process? The answer can be yes and no.

It is possible for mold to come back, but this will only occur if mold was not removed correctly or if the cause of mold has not been fixed. But if all moisture leaks have been restored such as: pipe leaks, roof cracks, or other known leaks, the possibility of mold coming back is slim to none.

Why does mold come back?

Because mold is a bacteria and grows through moisture the presence of water will make mold reappear. This can be through water leaks, rain storms, or even humidity within a home.
