Mold on Ceiling in San Diego, CA

The mold on the ceiling had been accumulating from a small leak from a pipe. The tenants did not let their property owner know of the small leak that was coming from a pipe. They were simply clearing out the excess water with a towel. Unknowingly they were unaware of mold buildup, which unfortunately quadrupled the cost of the damage. After doing some monitoring the drywall was actually pretty wet. The SERVPRO of Mid-City San Diego team brought in multiple dehumidifiers to dry the area. They also cut out the effected area in order to get new drywall. The residents were so happy to get the drywall fixed so they would not have to deal with a high cost. We also had the opportunity to inform the residents of water damage for any future events that can occur.
